Chicago, IL —(December 14, 2011)— – Foreman Friedman P.A., a full-service litigation and business law firm, has promoted John M. Sheldon to partner in the Chicago office. He formerly served as an associate in the firm.

Mr. Sheldon concentrates his practice primarily in commercial litigation. He has extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of civil litigation matters. He also has commercial bankruptcy, maritime, general corporate and tax experience.

Mr. Sheldon practices in both federal and state courts. He has argued before the Illinois Appellate Court and has successfully represented clients before the Illinois Supreme Court and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his J.D. from the University of Loyola Chicago School of Law in 1998 and his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1991.
