MIAMI, FL (June 5, 2012) – Foreman Friedman, P.A., a full-service litigation and business law firm, has added two new associates to its office in Miami.

Scott Robin focuses his practice on complex litigation, regulatory compliance and employment matters. Prior to joining Foreman Friedman, Robin was a partner with a mid-sized South Florida law firm where he chaired the firm’s Cable and Communications Group. He represented multiple local governments in the area of municipal law, rights-of-way management, zoning and cable television franchising and wireless facilities leasing. Robin received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida and an MBA from Florida International University. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.

Sharla Manglitz focuses her practice on civil litigation and maritime. As a fourth generation maritime executive, she has extensive experience advising maritime companies in general operations, commercial transactions, insurance matters, crew matters, and vessel regulatory and compliance matters. She joins Foreman Friedman from Lake Michigan Carferry Service and Pere Marquette Shipping, where she served as general counsel and vice president of operations. Prior to that, Ms. Manglitz was in private practice with a large regional south Florida firm, and worked on commercial litigation and maritime matters. Ms. Manglitz earned her undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
