Ms. Ligianette Cordova is an associate at Foreman Friedman, P.A. who handles a wide variety of maritime claims in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration, including claims involving personal injury, wrongful death, and medical negligence. Ms. Cordova completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and English, with minors in Philosophy and Spanish at the University of Miami. Ms. Cordova received her Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law, where she served on Moot Court, as well as interning at the Third District Court of Appeals and Eleventh Judicial Circuit. While attending law school, Ms. Cordova studied international and comparative law at the Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain. Prior to joining Foreman Friedman, Ms. Cordova served as Assistant General Counsel at the Office of the General Counsel for the Eleventh Judicial Court where she provided legal counsel to the judiciary and the Administrative Office of the Courts.
